Smileful, clear aligners
The patient website for Smileful’s invisible aligners, and the platform orthodontists use with their patients: send a case, approve the 3D plan and follow treatment through photos.

Two audiences, one product
Patients want to know whether aligners will work for them and what it costs. Orthodontists want to offer aligners without buying a lab or learning heavy software.
So Smileful has two front doors: a bright site for patients and a dark, practical one for doctors, with a shared login for both.
For patients: am I a candidate?
Before any price, a six-question test asks why you want to change your smile, whether you have had braces and where to send the result, by WhatsApp or email. Plans and payment options come after the orthodontist’s diagnosis.

Results by type of case
Crowding, gaps, open bite, overbite, crossbite and prognathism each have an icon, with before-and-after photos and patient reviews below, so visitors can find a case like theirs.

For orthodontists: three steps
Upload the photos and the scan or impression from a phone or computer, review the treatment simulation and approve production with one click, then receive the aligners at the practice ready to hand over.

The tool doctors use with their patients
Patients upload progress photos from home with visual guides. The orthodontist reviews each stage from the portal and confirms when the patient can move to the next aligner. Reminders say when to change aligners, and questions go through the chat instead of a check-up visit.

What it runs on
- Patient site
- Hand-built with Bootstrap, so every page loads light and fast
- Platform
- Separate logins for patients and orthodontists, case upload, plan approval and photo follow-up
- Open to any scanner
- Accepts STL files from Medit, iTero and other scanners, or conventional impressions
- Sales and support
- Google Ads, Analytics and the Meta pixel, Zendesk chat, Yotpo reviews and WhatsApp
On a phone
The patient site leads with the candidate button. The doctors’ page explains the app on the same screen size their patients will use it on.

Why it works
Ask before you sell
The test qualifies the patient and collects a contact before price comes up, and the orthodontist then quotes for the actual case.
The orthodontist is the channel
Every practice that joins brings its own patients, so the doctors’ page is a sales page in its own right.
Fewer check-up visits
Photo follow-up means the chair is free for new cases, which is the argument that sells the platform to busy practices.
No lock-in
Accepting files from any scanner removes the biggest reason a practice would say no.
What we would add next
An assistant that answers the candidate questions on WhatsApp at night, books the first consultation and passes a qualified patient to the nearest Smileful orthodontist.
For doctors, a check that flags blurry or badly framed progress photos before they reach the review queue.
